Low Fat Tomato
Sauce
3/4 cup apple juice
1/2 cup green peppers, chopped
1/2 cup red peppers, chopped
1/2 cup yellow peppers, chopped
1 cup onions, chopped
1 tbsp minced garlic
1 tbsp oregano
1 tbsp black pepper
1 tsp ground bay leaf
28 oz can crushed tomatoes
2 tbsp tomato paste
Add apple juice to skillet, heat on medium. Add peppers,
onions and spices ... minced garlic,
oregano, black pepper and ground bay leaf. Stir then
add tomatoes and paste.
Stir well and simmer for 5 minutes.
