True
Growing evidence suggests that some cancers can be prevented
or delayed by sufficient intake of vitamin C and beta-carotene.
Other components in fruits and vegetables may also play

recommends an intake of 5-10 servings of fruits and vegetables
each day. Some of these servings should include the colourful
fruits and vegetables such as kiwis, oranges, cantaloupe,
papaya, strawberries, broccoli, brussel sprouts, dark leafy
greens, carrots, squash, sweet peppers and sweet potato.
