Jo at Lake Lousie – March 1989
I often refer to Lake Louise, Alberta as a winter wonderland. Here I am during a scouting location day enjoying the peacefulness of the mountains and the beautiful scenery. It was March 1989 and we had headed to Lake Louise to film 6 shows. At the time, we did not know if Participaction was going to request additional programs. However, we felt we needed to take a gamble. If we shot winter shows when there was snow, we would then be ready to distribute a winter series of programs should Participaction want to go ahead. The financial risk paid off and Participaction contracted us to do more programs starting in October 1989. We were excited and ready.
