Hal's Black Bean and Rice Salad

Ingredients
water 2 tbsp    10 ml
green pepper, chopped 1/2 cup    125 ml
onions, chopped 1/2 cup    125 ml
minced garlic 1 tsp    5 ml
chili powder 1 tsp    5 ml
black/red pepper 1/4 tsp    1 ml
dry mustard 1/4 tsp    1 ml
black beans, drained rinsed 1 can    540 ml
tomatoes, diced 1 can    540 ml
cooked rice 2 cups    500 ml

Directions
Step 1 Electric skillet on medium heat, add water, green pepper, onions, garlic, chili powder, pepper and mustard. Sautee until onions/green pepper are soft.
Step 2 Add black beans and tomatoes and simmer for 10 minutes.
Step 3 Add rice or serve over rice later (hot or cold).
